At first glance, the Cubase Project Window appears to be a linear timeline for recording audio and MIDI. Yet, a deeper analysis reveals the architecture of a classic project plan. The vertical tracks represent distinct workstreams (vocals, drums, strings, effects), while the horizontal events represent tasks with specific durations. Just as a construction manager uses a Gantt chart to visualize dependencies, a Cubase user uses and markers to map out song structure (Intro, Verse, Chorus, Bridge).
