Installing a save file is a simple copy-paste job, but you must find the right profile folder.
It is currently impossible to import external save files on Xbox due to Microsoft's encrypted cloud-only save system.
Paste it directly into your alphanumeric Rockstar Profile folder ( Documents \ Rockstar Games \ Red Dead Redemption 2 \ Profiles \ [YourUniqueFolder] ).
Inside the Profiles folder, you’ll see a folder with a long random ID (letters and numbers). Open that—this is where your saves go.
