While DIY eGPU Setup 1.35 remains a powerful tool, the landscape of eGPU technology has evolved significantly. For modern systems, many of its core functions are now handled by other means.

You probably do not need this tool if you have a modern laptop (2020 or later) with a Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, or USB4 port, and you are using a simple plug-and-play enclosure. However, you absolutely need DIY eGPU Setup 1.35 if you find yourself in any of the following situations:
